Cancellation Policy

What should I do if I need to cancel my stay?

Cancellation of your booking should be made in writing for the attention of Julia Hunter and emailed to : hello@norfolkcoastline.co.uk We will attempt to re-let the cottage and if we can, a discretionary payment may be returned to you. We strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to protect yourself in the event of you needing to cancel. 

How much will it cost me if I need to cancel?

If you cancel at any time after paying the 25% deposit, your deposit will not be refunded.

If you cancel with:

  • 6 weeks or less notice it will cost you 30% of the holiday price 
  • 5 weeks or less notice it will cost you 40% of the holiday price
  • 4 weeks or less notice it will cost you 50% of the holiday price
  • 3 weeks or less notice it will cost you 75% of the holiday price
  • 2 weeks or less notice it will cost you 85% of the holiday price
  • 1 weeks or less notice it will cost you 100% of the holiday price

What happens if the Cottage owner needs to cancel your stay?

In the extremely unlikely event the cottage becomes not available and we have to cancel the booking, we will endeavour to find you suitable alternative accommodation. If this cannot be found, you will be entitled to a full refund. We shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.
